A sustentabilidade se mant\u00e9m na agenda do dia em n\u00edvel global para despertar a consci\u00eancia coletiva a esta causa que \u00e9 urgente. Diante desse cen\u00e1rio, a ind\u00fastria de tintas se movimenta e busca na qu\u00edmica a base aliada para encontrar solu\u00e7\u00f5es vi\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os resultados pr\u00e1ticos dos nossos avan\u00e7os em sustentabilidade est\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m em nosso portf\u00f3lio<\/strong>, sendo um importante pilar em nosso Plano Estrat\u00e9gico de Sustentabilidade 2030. Um bom exemplo \u00e9 o ULTRAFILM<\/strong>\u00ae<\/strong> 5000<\/strong><\/a>, o novo coalescente zero VOC (do ingl\u00eas Volatile Organic Compounds<\/em>) de alta performance destinado para tintas arquitet\u00f4nicas base \u00e1gua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para entender melhor o desempenho diferenciado deste produto \u00e9 preciso voltar um pouco na hist\u00f3ria recente da ind\u00fastria de tintas. O setor acompanha de perto as demandas da sociedade por tecnologias de baixo impacto ambiental, por isso precisa de parceiros que priorizem investir em pesquisa e desenvolvimento. Atualmente, grande parte das formula\u00e7\u00f5es de tintas \u00e9 base-\u00e1gua, em substitui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 base-solvente<\/strong>, que dominava o mercado at\u00e9 cerca de 40 anos atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este foi um avan\u00e7o significativo para a ind\u00fastria. Muitas barreiras t\u00e9cnicas foram vencidas, impondo um novo n\u00edvel de excel\u00eancia na produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Os ganhos ambientais e de seguran\u00e7a \u00e0 sa\u00fade s\u00e3o not\u00e1veis, especialmente no segmento de tintas arquitet\u00f4nicas, pela sua extensa capilaridade de uso pelo consumidor final. Esse movimento, no entanto, n\u00e3o colocou fim a um dos principais desafios desta ind\u00fastria: os compostos org\u00e2nicos vol\u00e1teis.<\/strong> Os coalescentes dessa categoria normalmente ainda t\u00eam, embora em menor n\u00edvel, solventes org\u00e2nicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os estudos que nunca cessaram, prosseguiram para vencer um importante desafio: a dificuldade de se obter uma pel\u00edcula de tinta com o mesmo desempenho de antes. Ao mesmo tempo, novas regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es e exig\u00eancias de emiss\u00e3o de VOC impunham limites no ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o de coalescentes, propriedade que caracteriza a facilidade de evapora\u00e7\u00e3o do produto<\/strong>. O mercado passou a demandar por alternativas que cumpriam com as normas internacionais, como a Diretiva Europeia 2004\/42\/CE, que classifica um coalescente zero VOC, aqueles com ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o maior do que 250\u00baC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainda hoje a temperatura de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o de um coalescente \u00e9 um desafio t\u00e9cnico importante. Produtos atuais, que apresentam alto ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o, acima dos 250\u00baC, n\u00e3o proporcionam desempenho adequado \u00e0s tintas, sobretudo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 ader\u00eancia de part\u00edculas de sujeiras<\/strong>, como poeira, terra e polui\u00e7\u00e3o. Essa limita\u00e7\u00e3o compromete a qualidade final e reduz a durabilidade, ou seja, exige mais manuten\u00e7\u00e3o (repintura), resultando em menor ciclo de vida da tinta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O ULTRAFILM\u00ae 5000<\/strong> supera estas barreiras e vai al\u00e9m. Desde o in\u00edcio das pesquisas, o nosso foco era criar uma mol\u00e9cula de coalescente zero VOC de acordo com o Green Seal<\/a> (ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o acima de 280\u00baC), capaz de entregar o melhor desempenho \u00e0s tintas. Testes<\/a> comprovaram a efic\u00e1cia do produto em eliminar os dom\u00ednios de part\u00edculas de l\u00e1tex, proporcionando um filme uniforme e completamente coalescido<\/strong>. O lan\u00e7amento ainda tem dois importantes benef\u00edcios: \u00e9 muito seguro para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o e manuseio e reduz em at\u00e9 30% o teor requerido de coalescente, quando comparado aos produtos convencionais (monoisobutirato do 2,2,4-trimetil-1,3-pentanodiol, mol\u00e9cula l\u00edder de mercado global pelas \u00faltimas cinco d\u00e9cadas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al\u00e9m de entregar a melhor forma\u00e7\u00e3o de filme, os estudos mostram que sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3oresulta em tintas com excelente desempenho em lavabilidade, resist\u00eancia \u00e0 pega de sujeiras e ciclo de vida. O ULTRAFILM<\/strong>\u00ae<\/strong> 5000<\/strong>, portanto, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 cumpre bem o seu papel, como vai al\u00e9m de zero emiss\u00f5es de compostos org\u00e2nicos vol\u00e1teis. Ele tem baixo odor, \u00e9 derivado de fontes 100% renov\u00e1veis e exige menos repintura, o que reduz o consumo de recursos, emiss\u00f5es e res\u00edduos em toda a cadeia, desde a produ\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 o uso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
